Get ready for tons of lights shimming, creating a breathtaking spectacle that captures the essence of the holiday season featuring The City of Philadelphia’s concolor fir VISIT PHILADELPHIA® Holiday Tree powered by NRG reaching over 50 feet tall from Yule Tree Farms in Hornell, NY! Come down to the Wawa Holiday Plaza on the north side of City Hall early to enjoy a pre-show performance of Disney’s Frozen by the Kimmel Cultural Campus and watch DJ Diamond Kuts get the crowd going. After the tree is lit, enjoy free performances by Zeek Burse, Felicia Punzo and Grammy nominated, multi-platinum artist, Jordin Sparks! Friends and family can gather around the Wawa Holiday Plaza to have a festive night of holiday lights, treats and cheer. There will even be giveaways courtesy of Bank of America, Wawa, NRG, Sharing Excess and Haribo! Make sure to mark November 30th on your calendar and plan to arrive early to secure a prime spot on the north side of City Hall.

If you can’t make it in person, this event will also be exclusively broadcast live on 6abc at 7:00 p.m. and hosted by Cecily Tynan, Rick Williams, and Alicia Vitarelli.

Philly Holiday Parade

The Philadelphia Holiday Parade brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the joy and wonder of the holidays. Celebrating all of winter’s holidays, including Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and the Chinese New Year! Join us on East Market Street for a magical evening filled with holiday floats, marching bands, dance groups, and much more! You can catch a glimpse of the man in the red suit, Santa Claus and you may even spot some of his spirited friend. Parade goers are encouraged to enjoy the parade all along Market Street or join one of the three designated cheer zones – there’s not a bad viewing spot along the route, so bring the whole family out to take part in the holiday cheer!

And for those who are unable to join the fun in-person, the parade will be live streamed starting at 5:00 p.m. on 6abc.com and on streaming apps including Google TV.

Making its debut as a Philly Holiday Experience custom curated event this year, Deck the Paws will give pet parents the opportunity to capture a family holiday photo with the City of Philadelphia’s iconic VISIT PHILADELPHIA® Holiday Tree powered by NRG at the Wawa Holiday Plaza on the northside of City Hall and unite pet friendly vendors and charities for a day of community and connection! There’s something truly magical about capturing the pure, unfiltered happiness of your pet amidst the enchanting backdrop of a winter wonderland. Whether it’s your dog donning a Santa hat or your cat nestled in a cozy scarf, these photos create lasting memories you and your family will treasure for years to come. The Tito’s Vodka for Dog People program works to better the lives of pets and their families far and wide.
